Muffito Montorfano

Muffito Montorfano

Grapes: Pinot Bianco (50%) e Chardonnay (50%).

Production: made with grapes affected by Noble Mould (Botrytis cinerea) that, at the end of maturation, attacks the grapes and grows inside them in the form of mycelium, causing a partial dehydration with consequent concentration of sugars and acids, as well as the metabolization of numerous other elements and the improvement of the organoleptic properties. Primary and secondary fermentation in oak barrels. For these reasons it lends itself well to resisting aging.

Organoleptic characteristics: strong straw yellow colour. Very intense aroma of ripe fruit and vanilla. Flavour: sweet, well supported by acidity, dense and full. You can perceive the passage in mature wood. Alcohol 14°.

Food pairings: excellent with aged, strong and blue cheeses or accompanied with dry biscuits.

Serving temperature: 50 °F (10 °C).

Item code: 3041.
