Grapes: Cabernet Franc e Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (30%), Barbera (10%) e Nebbiolo (10%)

Production: regulated by the production directives enacted by DPR August, 9 1967 and subsequent amendments. Selection of Curtefranca Rosso particularly suitable for aging. Submerged cap fermentation. Aging in oak barrels of 350 liters.

Organoleptic characteristics: ruby colour with garnet reflections. Very intense, vinous aroma with hints of vanille resin better perceivable in a still glass. The flavour is full-bodied, but soft, long, with an aftertaste of liquorice and spices.

Food pairings: excellent with all meats, including game.

Serving temperature: 59-62 °F (15 – 17 °C).
